Whittier Porta Pros began as a family operation focused on one thing: showing up on time with clean equipment. We've grown to serve residential, commercial and municipal customers across the region, but that promise hasn't changed. Our fleet includes over 400 units. Every portable toilet we rent holds a 60 to 70 gallon tank and measures about 44 by 48 inches on the ground. We maintain them daily. That's not a promise we make lightly. What We Do
We rent portable toilet equipment for construction sites, events, weddings and disaster relief. We pump residential septic tanks, which are typically pumped every 3 to 5 years depending on tank size and household size. We service grease traps when fats, oils, grease and solids reach 25 percent of the liquid depth. Septic tank pumping requires the right equipment and a licensed operator. We have both.
We also haul debris. A roll-off dumpster rental takes 10, 20, 30 or 40 yard containers and handles everything from demolition to landscaping. Storage containers rent by the month for materials that need to stay on site. Restroom trailers come in 2, 4 and 8 stall models with heating, air conditioning and running water. How do I know how many porta potties I need?
Count your workers and apply OSHA 1926.51(c)(1): one facility for 20 or fewer. Larger crews need one toilet seat and one urinal per 40 workers up to 200, then one per 50 above that. Events are different. Call us with your headcount and we'll recommend the count.
Do you rent to residential customers?
Yes. Septic tank pumping and grease trap pumping are our bread and butter for homes. Storage containers work for renovations. Portable toilets are less common for residential, but we've set them up for home remodels where the main bathroom is out of commission.
What happens if my septic tank backs up on a weekend?
Call us. We dispatch emergency service same day when possible. Backup is usually a sign your tank needs pumping or a line is blocked. We diagnose and fix it.
Can I rent a dumpster for a month?
Yes. Monthly dumpster rental runs longer than weekly, and longer than daily. Weight limits vary by size. Dumpster rental cost depends on container size and local haul distance.
Are handwashing stations really required on construction sites?
Yes, where employees apply paints, coatings, herbicides or insecticides under OSHA 1926.51(f)(1). Soap and towel dispensers or hand dryers are required under 29 CFR 1910.141(d)(2); hand sanitizer alone doesn't satisfy the rule. Handwashing station rental covers both requirements.
